  Yes gooner, it was contestants from all over Europe, for Going For Gold.  Except for the last 2 series, when it was just the UK and Ireland.
  
  Here's one we'll never forget!  I remember first seeing this, towards the end of 2000, getting in from work at around the 5:15pm mark, switching on BBC2, and seeing Anne Robinson with this plazzy horrible boss act on a game/quiz show!!!  It caught everyone's attention though, eventually ending up on BBC1 and becoming a Worldwide smash hit!

  It stunned me at first, because I remembered her for years on Points Of View and Watchdog, very serious and professional, then was on The Weakest Link and proper horrible!!!  As she said in one interview, it was just an act for the show, but she absolutely terrified many of the contestants!!!
  
  
  I remember this show, used to be weekday mornings at 9:25am, then they brought it back in the 5:10pm slot, then 7:00pm on a Friday night!  Not the greatest, no way!

  loved this at the time and the crew to,liked it when our old friend Emlyn joined it to he was a good crack :P   but now its got a bit stale,all they want is laughs :-/

  Another blast from the past!  Another weekday morning game show, plus late afternoon it was on as well.
  
  Had so many hosts, with Jeremy Beadle being the first, Andrew O'Connor, Ted Robbins, Vince Henderson (as in this clip) and Davie Spikey all presented this at some point.

  Agreed gooner, was much better when the likes of Emlyn Hughes, Willie Carson, Ian Botham and Bill Beaumont were on it, plus David Coleman presenting.  RIP Emlyn and David, 2 legends!
  
  A Question of Sport tried to be the plazzy They Think It's All Over, all trying to be the big licks, trying too hard to be funny.  I agree, has gone real stale!  Give me some of the old AQOS anyday!

  Used to fucking absolutely love this show and have been searching for it on the net for ages to watch but really cant find it properly (all of it, not just the odd episode). Always remember Rory giving Spurs shit cos he supports Arsenal :P

  I loved They Think It's All Over, 9:30pm on a Thursday night on BBC1.
  
  Wasn't the same once David Gower and Gary Lineker left.  Lee Hurst was funny!  Jonathan Ross was actually quite funny as his replacement!
  
  However, a great show, humour and quiz.
