Ong Bak's fight scenes are brilliant, infact just any martial arts film starring Tony Jaa tends to have excellent fight scenes.
Jeeja Yanin's fights in Chocolate are excellent as well (the ice factory fight in particular). -

Just noticing an absence of Bruce Lee movies on your list. Just does not seem correct to have a list of the best martial art movies and not have at least one of his movies being mentioned on it. The rest of your choices are all good martial art films. -

Also after watching the Matrix Reloaded last night I thought that they should at least get a nod for what they did with Kung Fu in Sci-Fi. -

Ip Man and Ip Man 2 (the one with Donnie Yen, there were few of those).
Good action movies but also very interesting biography.
In Ip Man 2 you can see Darren Shahlavi, as a bad guy, who has pass away not long ago. RIP.
If you doidn't know by now Yip Man was Bruce's Lee martial arts teacher. -

There Are Others - "Azumi " 2004 Played By Actress (Aya Ueto) A Trained Assassin From Childhood ,
And " Ichi " 2008 Played By ( Haruka Ayase ) A Blind Student Of Zatoichi , Also " Zatoichi " 2003 , Terrific Artistry In There Production , Compelling Story / Script , And First Rate Actors , Just To Say That The Movie " Chocolate " Actress Jeeja Yannin , Portrays A Young Girl Who Has " Autism " The Actress Prepared Herself For 5 Years For The Role , Such Commitment To The Martial Skill Is Immesurable To The Films Portrayed Content , Incredble Feats Of Endurance And Martial Techniques . Those Active In Martial Skills Will Know What I Peak Of , Those That Are Not , Can Marvel In The " Awe " That Which Is Human Physical Achievement . Regards Jester -

i like ong bak it has the best realistic fighting but i cant stand watching movies when i have to read subtitles,i still watch but much better when they got english audio -

To be honest, JUNIOR88, I always used to automaticaly dismiss subttled movies as nonsense that wouldnt interest me. That was extremely narrow minded of me and now have discovered some real classics (it was the range of Studio Ghibli movies that turned me around). I digress, good call on Ong Bak. Cant recall much about the film, need to rewatch it. I do recall the martial arts scenes being fantastic though. The only other one that immediatly springs to mind is Red Cliff. Fantastic film with not only some fantastic martial arts scenes but battlefield action scenes as well. Love that movie. -

He has made 2 martial arts related movies that can also be tagged as comedy and well... sci-fi.
