  There have been quite a few GTA games, was wondering which of them is considered the most popular by the people on this forum (i'm fairly certain there are quite a few GTA fans on here.

  For me it's probably 3, just because ot was such a game changer, it completely revolutionised the series, bringing it into the 4th gen (I think that's right) of gaming and adding an element of immersion that would be added to as the series continued to grow.

  With-out doubt it has got to be San Andreas, as the things that could be done in the game were so cool! buying property, driving a train, flying/jumping out of planes, modding cars and just the fact the whole thing was huge

  Pretty much exactly my thinking mate, the sheer scope of things you could do in San Andreas, the amount of customisation and different things you could do hasn't even been matched by any of the other games in the series (even by the last one which was for PS3 and 360 so really should have been able to do way more)

  i like san andreas the best but when i get bored i loved getting the cheats for unlocking all the guns and going on top of the car parks and shooting police cars and waiting for the army to come out and kill me

  San Andreas was the best, arguably my favourite game of all time. yeah i could still call some of the cheats straight off memory right now i played that game so much. OG LOC - I'm GANNNGSTA! quality. I did like Vice City with Tommy Vercetti also. GTA Music on the radio was always the best too. Great Games!

  i totally agree as it changed into a 3d vision but i feel the franchise started to go downhill after vice city as ever game rockstar brought out was basically GTA but as a different title and all the games were basically the same

  It would be nice to see them do a re-make of GTA London, as having to play it birds-eye is really frustrating and seeing London in full glory would be amazing, but on a side note - I would love to see a scottish Grand Theft Auto game

  i think they did have the idea to have a scottish version at one time as the game was invented in Dundee, i dont think they would get away with the accents and trait as folk would have no idea what they were sayin subtitles would be a must hahaha
  would love the birds eye vies to make a return

  As you can clearly see from the votes it just doesn't ger better than GTA San Andreas, that game was the best, you could go gym, be fat, get tattoes, haircuts etc. and it had all the best music on the radio stations
