  Thought this was worth discussing, the next game in the Arkham series is out later this year (some will probably already know that), this one apparently is a prequel back to Batman`s early days and the first encounters with some of his more formidable villains (not the Joker though).
  
  This time though it`s being developed by a different studio (although using the same game engine) and i`ve heard that the voice of Batman will be different (possibly because it`s supposed to be a younger Batman).
  
  So anyone else think they will be getting this?

  I've finished the first one, played most of the second one will probably get the third one. I'm hoping there is a steam sale so I can get all three for a decent price. Usually around the time before release there is a special steam offer. The combat system is fun in the game really easy though the only downside.

  There is now an official trailer for this, i don`t believe it`s gameplay but it`s a very interesting trailer
  
  (i should probably learn how to embed these videos at somepoint, can`t be difficult lol)
  Looks very promising from that trailer even if it`s not gameplay, the costume looks quite different in this one, prefer how it looked in Asylum and City but then it`s only a trailer so not really seeing it in action.
  Opinions/thoughts?

  I'm such a huge fan of the series I will get this day of release for sure! The games are excellent and some of the best I've ever played! Like the look of the prequel, just a little nervous about the new studio.

  After watching the trailer i will be pre ordering it, partly as i want the option to play as deathstalker, but mostly because of the heritage of the series, if they are using the same engine it will most likely rock as the other two did, i finished both of them and being a hardcore Batman fan i am always looking for my next 'fix' as it were.
  
  The other two Arkham games were outstanding and with any luck this one will be set in Gotham itself, making the whole thing massive.

  Yeah unless they truly screw up the story the same game engine pretty much ensures that it will still at least play well (although i highly doubt they`d screw the story up though.
  I`ll end up pre ordering it myself but i`m waiting for the best release with the most extras etc before i decide which one to get.

  I will most likely get the game, the trailer was really good but that won't be in game graphics. The CGI trailers always look amazing. As I said before the game is fun but it's too easy the counter system is good but they need to add something extra to make a good challenge

  Well i didn't finish all the Riddler challenges as some of them really got on my pip

  I managed to get everyone of them on Asylum (after a many attempts at some), not yet managed to get everyone of them on City, only a few off but they are awkward ones.
  There was a very good extra level on the version of Arkham City i got (don`t know if you played that or not), the iceberg lounge, was basically just endurance, how many enemies can you fight and how high a score you can get until they overwhelm you with no time limit, i want a level like that on this one.

  i did them all in asylum too, i even found the secret room that was so secret Rocksteady had to tell people it was there after nobody found it in the first six months after release (although i had to go online to find out how) but some of the trophes in city were just nuts
