if that is half as good as it looks it will be great,
it's a three way tie between which i'm more looking forward to that or uncharted 3 or assassins creed revelations, too many games coming out, can't afford them all lol.

i think the only way i can choose between batman and assassins is going on the fact there have been more assassins games, and there's kind of a story running throughout all of them so i guess i'm maybe looking forward to that slightly more just to get the next instalment of the story and the game play is always great in them.
where as batman i don't really think has any story, other than "everyone's escaped, stop them" that being said the first one was in no way a bad game and i really enjoyed it, it got just the right mixture of detective work, stealth and beating up the bad guys, it truly felt like you were playing as batman. i think the only possible thing that wasn't in the first game that i would of liked was the chance to drive the batmobile lol, but would've been tough to incorporate as it was all set in such a small space, but who knows maybe we'll get to drive it in the new game, although i've not seen anything to suggest we will

from what i've heard, you should be playing as desmond in the next game. as the way they work it is each game is set closer to modern times, and the upcoming game is meant to be the last time you play as either ezio or altair, so i think that means that the game after this one will be when we get to play as desmond, especially as desmond is unlocking more of his talents in each game.
the only thing that worries me is that if the game is set in modern times how well will it work, i mean people will have guns etc... so i really hope it doesn't ruin the basic gameplay mechanics, i'd also hate it to just become another generic shooter/spy game which would be a risk if it were set in modern times. although from the games they've bought out so far, i'd say if anyone was capable of making it work if set in modern times it's them
i also love the little hidden stuff, like the video you could unlock in the second game i think it was of the people running through the garden of eden?
but i'll definitely be looking up the story before i start to play the new game, just to remind myself of everything that's happened/been revealed so far
