  What gems of information about the autumn wildlife have we learnt so far?
  
  Edible dormice look like squirrels
  Squirrels have leprosy but you'll be okay if you stay away from them
  If you sneak up on a golden eagle chick and strap a battery pack on its back, you can control it like a drone
  Badgers show up very clearly on infra red film, so do rabbits, but not the stags they were looking for
  The inside of a deer-stalking tent is massively bigger than it looks from the outside
  Chris Packham still has a dodgy taste in outdoors wear
  
  Oh yes, and a set of common kitchen tongs are the spit of a spoonbill, whereas the curlew is more easily represented by the turkey-baster.
  
  I think it's only running for one week this time, so 2 more shows to go.

  Shooting fluffy animals is bloody good fun.
  
  So is chasing them with dogs. On horseback.

  I recon they should get Bill Oddie back on the gravy train, tell him to bring that bike he had in the Goodies and he Chris and Mick ale'r can get pist n crash it into a re'introduced beaver lodge!
