  The trailer for the next Assassins creed game has arrived
  
  Honestly didn't even know this existed, looks pretty good though. I do think they could pick different locations a bit, I think the most suggested by fans is Japan, but they seem to be determined to stay in Europe and America.

  I think this is going quite good with the whole Victorian London setting. I hear they are not having multiplayer in this either so hopefully they can focus more on the single player and make sure it doesn't completely break at launch like unity did. Also apparently they are having a system where you can swap between two character, them being the main character and his twin sister who is also an assassin.

  I have lost interest in the series after the cashgrab of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. They lie already in the title of the game.
  After Assassin's Creed: Bugity I was expecting that they are going to chill and slow down a bit with shitting next tittles but I guess that money was right.
  For me it's basically the same game that Assassin’s Creed II was and is being released every year over and over again.
  What sort of an innovation is the fact that now a player will be able to choice between a male and female character? What does it going to change? Old Ezio and young Ezio was exactly the same character gameplay wise.
  This series has jump the shark a looooong time ago.

  I do agree with you that each game is just the same thing over and over but i still rather enjoy them. I do think though that they should slow down production rather than releasing one each year, this way they can work on it longer and hopefully get some new ideas.

  Well to an extant I think they try and something new the series with each game, except for Rogue where it was essentially expensive dlc for Black flag. In any game series there is a degree of sameness, by definition of them being part of an established series and tone.
  I would like if they were more inventive with the setting, they've had one in Venice, Paris, colonial America but they've not tried branching out the location where the weapons and culture would make it more different.

  no multiplayer thats not good at all i love the online thing but we have to wait see i think they will keep the co-op

  Feudal Japan, Ancient Egypt that would be something cool to see I think OR for once they can go wild and jump even further in the future. Futuristic Assassin's Creed would be really refreshing. That could spark some new gameplay ideas and give me a reason to dive in into this franchise once again. So far its a one big MEH for me.

  Japan and Egypt are the most common suggestions you see in comments sections (the only downside to them, no high buildings, but a big difference in atmosphere). A future setting would be interesting, that is basically the Desmond sections in the third, although it would have to be padded out and expanded for a whole game.

  something i wouldn't mind seeing is an assassins creed that is set in the Roman Empire. I think that would really fun and you be set a assassination mission where you have to kill an emperor. It could be something like you actually killed Caesar or something.
