  And we're underway. Caught me on the hop a bit there, was expecting a bigger delay.
  
  Hopefully disruptions will be minimal for the rest of the day.
  
  England 256-4, 37 runs away from avoiding the follow-on, for what it's worth.

  I thought the delay may be longer too, especially from what was being said this morning but it seems to have dried up nicely..
  
  A couple of wickets (Woakes 25 then Bell 45) and the follow on avoided, England are not going slow so far with some crackin shots from Matt Prior. The question now is will they try to make a game of it by declaring and trying to make it 4 innings? or if Australia do bowl them out, will they bat a bit and set a target for England to make it interesting?

  Broad is the other wicket, bowled by Starc for 9 and Swann comes in and also starts to whack it about.

  Nice to see England knock it about a bit. Surely too late for anything really 'interesting' now though?

  i got a feeling something crazy could happen yet. i wouln't be shocked if either team had a shocking second innings. if the england bowlers are on fire and they get clarke early who knows.

  Maybe interesting not the right word lol, but at least make it more entertaining... and it has gone that way with a quick fire 111-6 Declaration by the Aussies in their second innings, giving England a target of 227 to get in 44 overs..
  
  Root becomes Haddin's record breaking 29th catch of the Ashes series and currently at 58-1 after 14 overs, a win seems slowing slipping away but it's still less than 6 an over needed, so who knows, give it another 15 overs, see how close they are and decide to give it a go with your big hitters, and get that record 4-0 score line... or be sensible and have a nice 3-0 win but at least you entertained the crowd on the last day.

  this is gonna be a quality finish, especially if pieterson plays it like a 20 20 and knocks the crap out of the ball. i had a feeling something was gonna happen to liven it all up.

  That's basically what is has come down to now a 20 over match with a run a ball needed, and KP looks like he is up for it.

  yeah this is what pieterson loves, playing aggressive, really going after the bowlers and being centre of attention. couldn't ask for a much better player to be out there for this kinda situation.

  It's a win-win situation for England, if they fail they win 3-0, if they reach the target it's 4-0, kudos for Clarke for taking a chance and setting this situation up.

  yeah it is a no lose situation for england really, it's either 3 0r 4 nil, so just swing for the fences. you have to applaud clarke for trying to win, shows fighting spirit.
