Artificial Intelligence just wrote the weirdest love song of all time!

The whole ‘love’ thing is a bit of a foreign concept to an AI so when a bunch of nerds fed 999 love songs to an AI and asked it to create the perfect love song, the result was pretty hilarious. 

 

The song it came up with is entitled 'Downtiration Tender love' and was created by media agency Search Laboratories and its "character-based Recurrent Neural Network," that uses Google's open-source machine learning software. They loaded up 999 snippets from some of the world's greatest love songs but even with all that info, it appears that you can’t teach a robot what love is. Here’s the song:


I mean it ain’t bad for a first try but we are definitely a long way from Skynet. The winning line for me, by far was “I love you so softer if you run away”. It’s a bit rapey but hey, the poor AI doesn’t know any better!
