Absolutely not - Chelsea, City and United (my team) were all poor, disappointing and frankly crap to various degrees or another.
Thats exactly the point - and one which you consistently seem to miss. With all 3 of the other "big teams" under performing this should have been your year to (finally) win the league again. But apparently you don't care about that?
I would have actually liked to see Arsenal win it this year. I think its the last chance Wenger had and I massively respect what he has done at Arsenal and for the premier league in general. But now the chance has gone.
And you forget the golden rule of internet chat - no typing is wasted!! -

Why o why is every one on our case about it was supposed to be our year,,what a load of crap that statement is,,aint all the big teams suppose to be challenging for the title,, just because they were crap why does it fall on us to win the league year after year,,i don't care where we finish I will support them forever more not get on their back just because Spuds are above us,,them supporters who rallied round slagging off Arsene should clear off :@ -

Personally don't buy into the logic that the title was ever Arsenal's to lose, Leicester were top for the bulk of the season so can't agree that anyone bottled it. Coming second is a mini triumph for the club but there need to be improvements in the summer, Giroud can't be relied upon to lead the line all season long and a top class striker is paramount for Arsenal as well as a defender with some composure about them. Given the new managers at City and United, there is no reason that with those additions and the steel that Xhaka will bring into midfield that they can't win the title next season -

lol i find it funny Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of Granit Xhaka (seriously if i was dyslexic id have no hope of spelling that thankful for copy and paste lol) for £30m yet there are pictures online already of him already modeling the new Arsenal kit lol
looks to be a fantastic signing, interested to know how he will fit into the squad, -

Arsenal have signed Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 23-year-old, who has won 41 international caps and captained the German club, joins for a reported £35m on a long-term contract.
"I'm very proud to be joining Arsenal," said Xhaka. "I cannot wait to move to London, represent this special club and play in the Premier League.
"I will give everything to help Arsenal win trophies and make the fans happy." -

Should kill off the Wanyama speculation too. Just need Spurs to decide they can do without now and hopefully he'll sign a new contract. -

Could well be a great signing, suggests that Wenger has lost faith in Coquelin somewhat but Xhaka is the type of player that Arsenal have needed for years. £35 million is probably over the odds but shows ambition from Arsenal that if they want to get a player they will go for it. Now they need a top striker to find those 20+ goals a season that they have lacked and also a composed centre back -

Maybe if they buy a top striker they have a good chance next year.
Ill go so far as to say if this signing had happened a year ago, Arsenal would have won the league this season. -
