this may be true but it's complete bullshit anyway, they don't need a better manager, they need a LOT more money it's as simple as that.
wenger could go to a richer club and have more chances of winning trophies too. it's not as though he has every resource possible to win (like mourinho or van gaal will) and is not winning anything cuz he's shit...
and yes fabregas is a dodged bullet, that guy is damaged goods at this point unfortunately.
i give sanchez 50/50 chances on being successful / flop at arsenal
You think van Gaal has the same resources as Mourinho?

Mostly agreed Timm, not had the resources of some but he's also shot himself in the foot at times by not even spending everything that's been available to him.
For me he's too close to the board. There needs to be a bit of tension, managers demanding funds, constantly looking to improve the squad. Wenger seems more like a director, and more interested in the balance sheet than winning trophies.

I,d rather him be close to the board than what's going on at Chelsea. Its like revolving doors

It sits awkwardly with what we're used to as football fans (loyalty, stability and all that) but you only need to compare trophy hauls over the last 10 or 15 years to see which has been the more successful approach.
