  Same vas jesslloydfan, im now, finally, able to comment on the post christmas break episodes (well, the 1st anyway). Have gotta say, as i expected, it was Vinnie Jones..whatever, Laurel as Black Canary...whatever, the reveal of who saved Oliver left me shockingly underwhelmed (dont want to say to much for the benefit of anyone reading the forum who has not seen the episode yet). Was hoping for an unconventional save as opposed to the " Oh, ok" save we were treated to. My favourite scenes of the episodes mostly revolved the emotional scenes with Felicity. Thought she was really good in this episode. All in all, not a bad episode but was hoping for more, especially after THAT mid season finale.

  It does increasingly seem like the cops can't do anything in this program, since apparently when team Arrow isn't at 100% the cities crime rate goes up. Vinnie jones seemed to be on his autopilot bad guy routine as the villian to me, maybe he'll be better in the next one, but wasn't sold on him being dangerous in his first appearance (really Roy or Diggle should have been able to stop him).

  I'd believe that as much as Laurel as Black Canary... oh wait.
  
  Every episode with Laurel playing dress-up just makes me miss Sarah more. But I will say that I think Thea's character has improved dramatically this season.

  I dont get why Brick is proving so seemingly unstoppable. Mind you with Laurel only proving to be effective as a punching bag its no great suprise lol. Thought the most recent uk epsode was ok but still lacking. Hurry up and return Oliver, stop pissing about haha. Diggle as Green Lantern. Nah, i know Green Lantern has had various personas over the years ranging from the cocky to hard nosed but im still not buying Diggle in the role. Should stick to what he knows (even if he doesnt seem to be doing a great deal nowadays). Who knows, perhaps he will wind up being the next good guy to be bumped off.

  Vinnie Jones was interesting. I'm not sure what the rest of the world thinks of his acting (maybe they think he can do serious) but to be honest I have a bit of laugh every time I watch him.

  I do laugh at him, usually on the inside. He does seem a bit of a one trick pony but, he has found his niche and he is running with it so fair play to the guy. Thought Olivers return was a little pathetic. Was expecting a grand entrance. Still, im confident now that he is back things, story / pace wise, will improve considerably.

  Yeah I agree. His return was a little underwhelming and moment at the end was just cringeworthy.
  How he managed to pull off that scene without laughing or sighing at the stupidity.

  Yeah his return was pretty awful. They are trying to sort out the Black Canary story first before the League stuff
