  so how far along is everyone with the game then?
  
  i'm thinking the easiest way is if people use the statistics menu to say how far they got, as that should be the same no matter what console we are playing it on

  i would be doing better but it's the riddler secrets that are killing me (trophies, riddles and informants all count as riddler secrets) in order to get to each hostage and save them you need a certain number of the 400 available
  
  1st hostage - basically given to you, you don't need any challanges.
  2nd hostage - 80 secrets
  3rd hostage - 160 secrets
  4th hostage - 240 secrets
  5th hostage - 320 secrets
  Final Hideout - 400 secrets
  
  so if i'm going to 100% the game i'm going to need to find all 400! i don't normally bother with collectables in games as i hate running around somewhere for ages just to pick up some meaningless thing but the problem is in AC they do have a meaning and you get a little level to save each hostage etc... which are kind of fun to work out how to beat them

  I think i've saved either 3 or 4 hostages,
  but i'm determined to get all the trophys, i got them on arkham asylum and i'm going to get them on city, may take a while though,
  and i think i'm near the end of the story missions, but i'm not entirely sure.

  yeah i've saved three of the hostages, which means i've got 160 secrets, but the annoying part is that to unlock the 4th hostage i need 240 secrets, so i've got to go and get another 80 of them and it just takes so long trying to find them all, working out how to get some of them etc...
  
  but the one good thing is that at least i'll know that when i've saved the 4th hostage i'm over half way.
  
  i got all the trophies in the AA as well which is part of the reason i want to get them all in AC as well, just wish there weren't so many

  well i've found/unlocked a few more things tonight, and i'm finally over halfway in finding all 400 riddler secrets (just) so that'll do for now. i've updated my stats back a few posts ago to reflect this. Also just gotta say that the hugo strange interview tapes you unlock by finding every riddler secret in a given area are really great and well worth listening too

  so how is everyone getting on with the game then?
  
  as you can see in my earlier post that i've kept updated, i'm getting there. i've rescued all the hostages and now just need to get all 400 secrets inn order to find the riddler's hideout. the one thing i didn't realise till now is that the combat challanges also count towards the 400, and some of them are proving tricky, like the glide for 30m over water at a height of no more than 5m, i can geet about 20m but that's the most i've managed so far without dropping in the water.

  now i'm currently trying to get all the riddler stuff and complete all the side missions already done most of them, some of the riddles may take a while.

  the ending is good i thought, surprising how many people on-line won't accept it though, i mean the dev's have said "that happened, and it is what it looked like" but all these people on line refuse to believe it, saying no, i think it will be reversed somehow for the next game etc... (hopefully none of that has given anything away but you'll know what i ment)
  
  i've now gotten everything except for one of the physical challenges (as shown in my updated post a few back) that i need to get the 400 so i can go after riddler. the problem is, if i i had catwoman i could just pick up one of her trophies and get 400 but i don't, so i had to get every single riddle and batman trophy in the game and there's just one physical challenge i can't seem to get (it's not helped by the lack of bad guys after completing the game, or at least un armed bad guys

  The end was good, but not at all what i expected,
  i can see why some didn't like it though, and i wouldn't be all that suprised if the devs changed their minds about the decision and adapted a way around it to change it next game.
  I'd recomend if you get chance getting the catwoman download though mate, it does add to the story and she's actually good to play as which to be honest beforehand i wasn't expecting.
