  I don't jump on the typical RIP brigades that you see on facebook and I won't with this one but he was a real talent in the infancy of his career.

  Genuine shame to hear about this (and most of the times I don't pay much attention, since usually it's their own fault due to drugs). A very talented actor whose career was just starting to really take off, to die that young because of what seems like a car manufacturers cock up (the car model has been recalled and it looks like that's at fault) is a waste of a young talent.

  While not a massive fan of his performances to date (sucks to speak ill of the dead but lets be honest..he wasnt a patch on the original Chekov) but regardless being a youngster with his career in its infancy its sad that he passed away (and potentially all due to a recalled car). Saying that i did enjoy atleast one film he was in, an indie horror called 'Burying the Ex'. who knows where his career would have taken him. Sadly now, we will never know.

  I think it was the jeep Cherokee, a lot have been recalled for telling people they are in park but they really aren't. It looks like that's the unfortunate cause of his death and sounded unpleasant (pinned against a gate).
  I think he's good in Star Trek, he even managed to be good as young Kyle reese in that Terninator Salvation dreck. I'd recommend Odd Thomas as well, underrated film and he's very good in the lead role.
