  i am pretty sure that dc would win that fight hands down. i don't think weidman is enough of a BJJ ace to actually sibmit daniel, and obviously daniel hits harder if he can knock out silva like he did and stronger wrestler if he can pick up fukkin 250+ lbs josh barnett and throw him down lol
  
  the problem is dc is too old. if he was like 7-8 years younger maybe he could make the weight, but i really don't think he wants to do it at this point at his age...

  weidman is a high level black belt he coud defo submit dc,weidman beat that really good jujitsu guy in straight jujitsu comp so im sure he could submit dc

  even if he's as good as you say in BJJ i don't think he's strong enough to submit DC. dc would be a crazy powerhouse at 185. he's like 5'11 and he's throwing around heavyweights guys that are 250lbs+ there is no way weidman could do that even if bulked up. combined with his wrestling i think dc would dominate weidman and not allow himself to get submitted

  ye i see what u saying but i dont have to be strong to submit someone,dont need strength for alot of submissions u just need good technique,like cody mckenzie he chokes out everyone but hes not that strong he just knows what he doing

  i think dc would smash weidman and i think daniel is to good of a wrestler to take him down , and weidman has very good take downs , i dont think daniel has been taken down before

  i dont weidman is pretyy quick at slapping on submissions and i think he would wrap dc up quick,its all about the styles and they dont match up good for dc i think

  yea you are right of course brazilian jiu jitsu is all about the technique but dc is still an elite level grappler. ok so he's not an amazing BJJ practitioner, but him vs weidman would not be pure strength vs technique. it would be two great athletes, but dc is not just strength he's got technique too and is really quick and agile. really, he could even keep the fight standing if he wanted to and just throw weidman to the canvas repeatedly.
  
  if dc decided he didn't wanna be in weidman's guard, i don't think weidman could force him there and for sure weidman would not end up on top... so yea i don't think he'd submit him

  does daniel have a black belt ? i didnt know daniel for anything but wrestling and kickboxing , hey who do you think would win out of jones and weidman ?

  no but i think he is a brown belt in jujitsu i think i saw a pic where he got promoted to brown,but i never seen him do anything jujitsu at all,would be crazy if he tapped jones lol

  yes that would be crazy if he tapped out jonny bones jones but it would never happen haha ,it could but i highly doubt it , do any of you think it will go the distance ?
