yea just heard about this one today as well. it's pretty simple isn't it - if anderson silva shows up at 60% or more of his old self he will win a points decision at the absolute minimum. i know diaz's chin is pretty good but i think he would get knocked out by anderson silva performing at a decent level...
people go on about nick diaz's boxing etc, but it's not THAT good, defo not as good as the best striker ever... -

basically said it all diaz will lose in devistating fassion if half silva shows up and i bet diaz wont be talking shit in this fight lol,i just hope diaz does everything hes suppose to cuz u know how diaz is he might not turn up lol -

i would pay JUST to see that - anderson taunting him on the fense and kissing him at the end of the round and nick being all like "c'mon motherfukka..." etc. that's pure entertainment value right there on it's own.
it's a smart fight by the UFC really if you think about it. nick diaz hasn't deserved any kind of title shot for a long ass time, but he's taking this fight cuz it's a big name. anderson doesn't wanna come back and face some huge MW who's gonna chop his leg down, wants a big name but an easy fight. everyone wins... -

yeah i agree and nick diaz never throws leg kicks so this is all good for silva lol,i bet the odds are so lopsided like 10/1 or some madness like that ,but im shocked how quickly andereson recovered from that brutal leg break -

yea i really don't know the biology or mechanics or whatever of recovering from a break like that but makes you think the body is pretty fucking amazing - i mean that thing snapped in HALF ffs man, the lower end of his leg like a good few centimeres detached from the rest of it when he landed the kick, i mean FUUKK just thinking about it now....
i wonder if he's had something put into his leg lol. cuz do you remember when frank mir snapped tim sylvia's arm and he got a metal plate in there?? couldn't submit that arm anymore lol... would be a crazy advantage if you had that in your leg lol... -

its nuts the dude heals up like wolverine ,there was a guy on bj penn vs jens pulver on that ultimate fight season that broke his leg not even as bad as andersons leg and he had to retire so silva is a beast,and silvahas a long rod going from knee to foot -

lol its not a metal leg its a rod that goes inside your bone and drilled all the way down i think,and i think it was only in thjere while the bone heals up and then they take it out after the bone has sealed but some guys leave it in -

yea no i know lol, but yea one of the best fighters ever would be great to see fight like we know he can. nothing wrong with it if he can't of course, but if he's still moving well i think diaz has no chance at all. i mean when he was taunting forrest griffin i think he even had his feet planted lol..
