After a day off, it's back to it with South Africa taking on the mighty Netherlands, it could be another early finish to this match... The Netherlands will be desperate to put on a good show and South Africa will be looking to heave up their run rate...
Netherlands win the toss and decide to bowl first, well that means we'll get a full 20 overs at least from the South Africans...
Team News:
South Africa: Quinton de Kock (Wkt), Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis ©, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Farhaan Behardien, Albie Morkel, Dale Steyn, Beuran Hendricks, Imran Tahir, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
Netherlands: Stephan Myburgh, Michael Swart, Wesley Barresi (Wkt), Tom Cooper, Ben Cooper, Peter Borren ©, Mudassar Bukhari, Logan van Beek, Timm van der Gugten, Pieter Seelaar, Ahsan Malik.
Time to play..
It's a spin option to start with from the Dutch and a successful one as Swart gets de Kock caught at square leg, 3-1Amla though has other ideas and he's looking to score fast, that run rate could be all important.. but in the 5th Amla has a swipe, gets a faint edge and caught behind, 43 from 22, 45-2.
Powerplay gone and 58-2, could we see 200 being posted here??
Onto the 9th and du Plessis is caught out on the boundary after going for another 6, 84-3.
The 10th over and half way... and almost another wicket as Morkel almost gets himself run out... 92-3, that 200 total is still on.
and very next ball de Villiers goes... also going for a big shot and caught at deep cover... 92-4
No 200 total today as it's all calmed down now, Morkel the next to go in the 13th, 102-5. Duminy also goes in the 16th, 120-6, the Dutch will be happy with this performance so far...
!!! I'm not sure this is really going the way that South Africa expected, especially after the start they got, Steyn edges to the keeper, 127-7 with 19 balls left... This tail line up is not usually known for it's batting ability, so the Dutch will be considering the win if they can bat half decent...
It's 8 down now as Hendricks also goes trying to give it a whack, 133-8, 11 balls left, perhaps we won't see a full 20 overs from South Africa after all!!!! 4 balls later, 135-9 and the last recognised batsman, Miller goes, that's 5 wickets for Ahsan Malik, impressive...
Yowser... a dropped catch... that allows South Africa to complete their 20 but far from posting a total that's unreachable...
SOUTH AFRICA: 145-9
Now if only the Dutch can get it together, they could be in with a chance...
