People seemed pretty unimpressed when Robert Pattinson was announced as the new Batman but they need to remember he’s come a long way since his Twilight days. Movies like Remember Me, The Rover & Good Time have shown him to be a real serious actor & I think he’ll bring a lot to the role of Batman.  



However, if you are still not convinced you might be a bit more inclined to see the movie when you hear that the role of Catwoman will be played by Big Little Lies star Zoe Kravitz, who’s also the daughter of the legendary Lenny Kravitz. 



Zoe has just signed on to play Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman, beating a bunch of other actresses to the post, including Zazie Beetz (Joker), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) and Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina). Call me crazy but I actually think Eiza Gonzalez and Alicia Vikander would’ve been better choices, but what the hell do I know. Zoe is still a banging hottie though! 

 

There is no official filming date yet but insiders reckon it could start shooting in late 2019 or early 2020. Whoever they could’ve chosen as Catwoman, no one will ever beat Michelle Pfeiffer. Goddamn!! 

 
The Batman is due to hit cinemas in June 2021.

I preferred Anne Hathaway's Catwoman to Pfeiffer's but that's probably owing to me liking the more grounded Nolan universe than the Burton one. We'll see how Kravitz does I guess, I'm not wow'd by the casting choice but then I know nothing of the script, she might well be perfect for it.

One thing is for sure, it's going to be better than poor Halle Berry's version. Maybe they could make a Gotham failures movie with Berry's Catwoman, Leto's Joker, Jones' Two Face and either Clooney or Kimler's Batman.
