This is the teaser trailer for the Kenya Barris directed rom-com starring Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, Nia Long and Lauren London that will be released on Netflix. The basic plot is similar to Meet The Parents, in that Jonah is dating Lauren, and Eddie and Nia are her parents.

This is the first full trailer and my initial impression is that it looks like it has the potential to be really good. Hill has always had a great everyman style comic timing, his chemistry with London looks good. But the key to what could make this film great is Louis-Dreyfus and Duchovny as Hill's parents and Murphy and Long as London's parents. Not only is there the obvious racial dynamic but it's also revealed there is a religious one too.

Jonah Hill has always been an actor that audiences love and Lauren London continues to improve as an actress. But the stars of the show unsurprisingly were Louis-Dreyfus and Murphy. Every time they appeared on screen the film stepped up another level. Long was good and Duchovy played his role perfectly. There were numerous cameos, with Deon Cole being one of the funniest and Rhea Pearlman was hilarious too.
