  I do not understand why X-Men Origins: Wolverine get's such a bad reputation. It was one of my first blu-ray's, and I have watched it countless time's. Sure it is not the greatest movie in the world, but it is not that bad. I enjoy this movie...........so sew me!!

  I agree with you, i enjoy this film and have also seen it multiple times. I don't think there is anything wrong with the film and don't understand why people hate on it so much.

  I've seen it so long ago and not planning to watch it ever again, but here are the things that I remember from that amazing motion picture experience.
  
  Sabertooth as Wolverine's brother? Kinda retarded idea since they have meet for the first time ever in the first movie from the same studio...
  Barakapool, they had him nice at the begining, but then the thing that it was turned into, nothing near the original. Deadpool is being called Merck with a mouth and they have shut his lips permanently. Who came up with this brilliant idea!?
  And last but not least...
  Two words, Amnesia Bullets........WTF? That made no freakin sense.....Wolverines skull is coated with adamantium as the bullet was as well, when he was shot in the head the bullet should not have penetrated his skull.

  The Sabretooth and Wolverine relationship was actually kinda cool. As for the first movie Wolvie has no recollection to his past, let alone his brother. 
  I must admit the end result of Deadpool was pretty horrendous, where as unaltered Wade was cool. 
  And as for the bullet's all I will say is "Wolfman" and "silver bullets".

  While there are good elements to it, Jackman is as usual good, And Liev (can't remember who to spell his last name) is a much better Sabretooth than Tyler Mane ever was (and the brothers angle is interesting). Overall I think it deserves it's reputation, there are too many characters (most pointless cameos), they cast Wade/Deadpool well but then turned him into baraka (and closed up the mouth on a character referred to as the merc with a mouth). Gambit was especially unneccesary and somehow Wolverine's class looked worse in this than X1.

  What i took away from watching this way back when was that it was a good sit, dissengage brain and watch movie. Pure popcorn. I tried not to write too much into its flaws and just take it in. So much more could have been done with Deadpool in his original form, a wasted opportunity there (hopefully to be rectified with the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie when that comes out). Alas, this was an origins vstory for Wolverine so i suppose he had to be the focus surrounded by others.

  It has been some time since i watched the movie but i mostly remember the story being somewhat silly especially the ending. It was well performed by Hugh and Liev but most of the disdain for the movie came from its treatment of the deadpool character and the totally ridiculous amnesia bullet ending.

  The movie as a movie alone was enjoyable. However the way they put two characters really annoyed me. Wade/Deadpool, thefact that they sewed his mouth shut was horrible his whole character was making wise ass remarks. Gambit, my favourite X-Men character, he barely showed up in the movie, he was a great character with no real use but to get Wolverine to the facility

  There were wasted opportunities in this movie. Fortunatly, i didnt feel Liev Schriebers Sabretoothwas on of those wasted opportunities. I enjoyed his performance in this and felt he was a much better sabretooth than the portrayal in the 1st X Men movie. Gambit was a wasted opportunity. Cold have done a lot more with his character (personally, getting a different actor altogether would have been a good start, just couldnt warm to him).

  anyone else here the rumours that Hugh Jackman is going to leave his role as wolverine after the next film in the series comes out? it would really be a shame if he does because he has truly become synonymous with the character and x-men in general over the years
