Backlash Kick Off Show

Andrade vs Apollo Crews for the United States Championship

Pretty solid match, only knock was the finish where the referee had to pause to ensure Andrade shoulders were down after Apollo hit the spinning sit down powerbomb.

Kevin Owen's was out at ringside to prevent Angel Garza from interfering in this match.

To Kick off Backlash was the Womens tag team title match between

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs The IIconics vs Bailey and Sasha Banks

The match was pretty solid i would say there were parts that seemed a bit poorly timed mainly with the IIconics, i thought they would have had Bailey and Sasha Lose to add more problems between them and eventually build to them two fueding at summerslam

Jeff Hardy vs Sheamus

This match was ok, built on Sheamus hating on Jeff Hardy and then framing him, they used Jeff Hardy's personal addiction issues to push the story, with Jeff throwing piss from a piss test at Sheamus on Smackdown.

The match felt long, it doesnt also feel like this story is over, as Sheamus took the win, with Jeff looking dejected in the ring,

Asuka vs Nia Jaxx

This match was not good, and the finish was terrible, as it ended with a double count out, i dont think this fued is over, but i would rather wish it was.

Braun Strowman vs Miz and Morrison

Another match where nothing really happened, with exception of Miz breaking up the count when Morisson had Strowman down for the 3 count. Didnt even get the suggested tease of a cash in from Otis.

the two title matches were disappointments one after the other

Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley

The pre-match attack made it seem like this would be a quick encounter, but they ended up having a longer match than expected.A couple of moves looked messy but most of the bout saw the two powerhouses trying to outdo each other with various feats of strength.This is one of the few matches that would have benefited from being a little shorter. The longer they went, the more small mistakes they started to make.However, they did manage to keep the match interesting as it progressed. Both men looked as dangerous as ever, so it was hard to tell who would win.The best thing to come out of this may be the end of Lana and Lashley's relationship

The Tag Team title match between the Viking Raiders and the Street Prophets was replaced by a stupid segment between the two of them.

Edge vs Randy Orton

Edge and Orton took the "greatest wrestling match ever" title seriously. They used more mat-based offense than we have seen either of them employ in years.

While everything they did was fluid, it didn't feel like we were watching Edge and Orton until about halfway through the match. It felt like we were watching them try to wrestle like Daniel Bryan, which is not what these two Superstars usually do.Once they started using more strikes and power moves, we started to see more signature moves from their respective repertoires. The crowd noise WWE piped in was often more distracting than it should have been, but Edge and Orton were still able to have an incredible match.

Was this the greatest match ever? No, but it was really good and that is the best we could have hoped for.

This week in WWE was mostly taken over by Bailey and Sasha Banks

- Raw
Bailey and Sasha Banks try to celebrate Bailey's birthday, but get interupted by the IIconics, and accept a match from them next week on Raw for the titles

- NXT
Bailey and Sasha Banks defended the Tag Team titles against Teagan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart, in a very good match which saw them win, but then get chased away by IO Shirai

- Smackdown
Bailey and Sasha commentate on New Day vs Lucha House Party, then get attacked by Nikki Cross leading to a match which Sasha wins against Nikki Cross

NXT have set up a incredible match in the coming weeks

- Johnny Gargano vs Finn Balor vs Keith Lee for the NXT North American Championship,

the winner of this match will not only win the NXT North American Championship, but will then get a title match against the NXT Champion Adam Cole on the 8th of July episode of NXT

will have 3 title matches which have been announced already

- Raw Women's Championship
Asuka vs Charlotte (possible interference by Nia Jaxx)

- Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Bailey and Sasha Banks vs IICONICS

- Raw Tag Team Championship Match
Street Prophets vs Viking Raiders (possible interference from the now Tozawa and Ninja group?)

Asuka vs Charlotte,

this match was tainted a little from the beginning as Nia Jax came out in a earlier segment to call out Charlotte stating Charlotte position in the company was only because of her Dad

Charlotte came out and looked like she was gonna drop the biggest fact in the world, but she didnt that being, Nia Jaxx potentially may not have been hired had she not been the Rock's 'Cousin'

This back and forth talk led to a pull apart brawl between the two, and Nia doing Damage to Charlotte arm, which would play a big part going into the title match which Charlotte would eventually lose, and followed by another attack by Nia Jaxx backstage.

Bailey and Sasha Banks defeated the IIconics in another really good tv match

Sasha Banks then told Bailey she was feeling a little jealous of Bailey having to belts and said she wants a title shot, however appears the title shot she wanted was against Asuka.

As Asuka came to the ring and Bailey and Sasha put in the work to take her out. So i expect this title match to take place soon as Bailey and Sasha can work both shows as they are Womens tag team champions
