I have just watched the t20 england V Australia on the BBC and there were 2 female commetators. you remember when they some people were against women commentators and the politically correct brigade said 'it is not as if they will talk about babies and clothes' and it was just outdated opinions. well....
guess what. one of the female commentators started asking Michael Vaughan about his children. Michael made some polite reply and steered the conversation back to the cricket. that being his expertise that he is being paid for, but she then turned to another commentator in the booth ( this is the licence payers money so they had about 6 ) and started asking about his baby,
later when there were 2 female commentators on the air together they were discussing the outfits they were wearing. ! ! ! was it a joke ? did they do it for a bet to see if anyone would notice ?
now i know that on Test match special they talk about all sorts of nonsense, like cakes and how many pipes one of them has or which grounds can you see the cricket from the top of a double decker bus. but that is when there is a 5 day test match on . a slow moving game with a lot of spare air time to fill and it is part of its charm. not a fast moving t20 game on television. if they cannot find anything interesting or noteworthy to say about a game of cricket they are commentating on then they should not be employed.
or course the BBC is a public body with a duty to diversity but then lets get rid of it. can you imagine a private sector, say cosmopolitan magazine employing a male editor and having articles about real ale.
we get so few matches on terrestial tv and they spout this drivel.

so , this is not cricket and it should be in the football section but i feel this is its natural home,
Sunday . watching the FA cup game. Chelsea winning bring off a player. teh female commentator says. "job done 3 points in the bag " ???? an FA cup game. i know we all mis-speak from time to time but this is her job.
tonight, WBA against Man city . city play the ball forward. the woman linesman signals offside. the West brom player stop, man city score and VAR it is not offside. seriously it was close why did she not wait for the VAR before putting the flag up, Poor old sam.

Fucking hate when these silly bitches think they can take a mans job and then make mistakes.

I honestly don’t know why some people think they can get away with stupid, easy mistakes.
