Some people are lucky to have great in-laws, but most people have to deal with the bullshit and nagging that becoming part of a new family entails. The most common in-law related arguments almost always involve an overly clingy mother-in-law, or an in-laws that thinks they have a say in how your kids are raised. What you don’t often hear about, are the in-laws who just like to get naked at every family function. That ones not so common!
A story popped up on Reddit recently from a wife who revealed that her father-in-law has a rather bizarre lifestyles. Here’s her story:
Quote:I was staying at my husbands parents house visiting his family/hometown.
This was the first time I've stayed with them at their house.
Everything was fine until I found out my father in law is practically a nudist.
I saw him watching TV without clothes on when I came home from dinner with my husband.
Why her husband didn’t fill her in on this is beyond me. I can only assume it was out of sheer embarrassment. Anyhoo:
Quote:The tip of the iceberg was after his shower he’s just walking around the house naked to the laundry room. He can’t even wear a towel. I told my husband I found this to be very inappropriate
Her comments did not go down too well, as her husband just looked at her like she was a massive prude and said it’s how it’s always been. She continues:
Quote:I told my father-in-law I found it very disrespectful that he can't wear clothes around others. This led to an argument where he kept responding with it’s his house and he can do what he wants.I said I'm done and booked a hotel for the night and changed my flight home.My husband told me I was over reacting and did not support me.
At the time of writing, the wife was back home whilst her husband was still at the nudist house. Yikes! The comments pretty divided as to who was in the wrong:
Quote:It's not as if he is gonna die by wearing some underwear for a few days
I mean yeah. Dude should’ve supported his wife. If my father in law started flopping his knob out in front of my friends and family I’d be livid. Unless my father in-law looked like this, then he can slap it across my face for all I care.
