So the W-Indies need 7.65 an over and with Smith and Gayle opening the batting you would surmise this is easily gettable...

Dwayne Smith hits 12 from the 1st over Rolleyes Gayle looks to be a bit more cautious as he was in the last T20, but when he decides to get going then you need to warn Air Traffic Control...
What was I saying, an immense hit that bounces on the roof and out of the ground, deserves to be an 8 not a 6... and they need a new ball, as that one ain't coming back...

Bresnan and Dernbach get hammered, 34-0 from 3 overs, so they bring on Tredwell for the 4th, 4 dot balls but also a 4 and a 6, 44-0 after 4. That 152 looks awful light now doesn't it!!

Ha, Smith doesn't clear the inner circle this time, Bresnan catches it, much to Dernbach's relief and Smith goes for a quick fire 30 from 16 balls, 48-1 from 4.3 overs.

That's the PowerPlay over with after 6 overs... West Indies 58-1 Gayle (26), a little bit better than the 30-3 England made.

10 overs and half way through, West Indies 74-1, England were 61-3 so closer now thanks to some good bowling from Bopara and Tredwell... 79 more needed from 60 balls, only 8 an over, you have to be fancying the W-Indies right now...

No sooner than I say that and Gayle (36 from 30 balls) drags a ball onto the stumps, that's made Ravi smile... 75-2

Samuels and Simmons starting to get going but NELSON STRIKES... After smashing Wright for a 6, Simmons edges one to Buttler, 111-3.

Bopara is bowling like a dream, dot balls and a couple of singles, it's starting to look better for England.

4 overs to go and Brezzie lumbers up and it's another wicket, Samuels holing out to Hales at long on... The next ball it's virtually a repeat performance as Russell does the same, 116-5 and Tim's on a hat-trick... Not to be though...

Darren Sammy and Dwayne Bravo out in the middle, it's still around 9 an over to get, it's not good odds for England..

Dernbach takes the next over, 14 from it, even better now for the W-Indies.... Back to Brezzie for the 19th over and they only need 5 balls to win... two singles, a wide, two 6's and a 4 to finish it off, Sammy has 30 from 9 balls, now that's what you call finishing..

West Indies 155-5 win by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare...

The W-Indies take the series already, just pride to play for now on Thursday...

Bopara bowled well though, 4 overs, 10-1 with 14 dot balls... But again the quicker bowlers got hammered everywhere. The T20 change has changed, the slower bowlers and spinners seem to be the deciding factors more and more and we don't seem to be too good at that aspect just yet...
Still disappointing on the batting side, you need more than just 1 or 2 players to get going, and again we don't do that either. If it does ever come together then they will start winning, I don't know what it will take for that to happen though...

Well there we go. West Indies win by 5 wickets and with that they clinch the T20 series. For England, alot of questions will be raised going into the T20 World Cup. This would have been the perfect chance to build a settled team

Onto the 3rd T20, can England manage to avoid another whitewash!

At least it's a good start, England win the toss again, and it's time to bat first again.... Still a good decision, they just need to get a shedload more than they did last time...

Luke Wright and Tim Bresnan make way for Ben Stokes and Chris Jordan..

    TEAM NEWS
West Indies: Dwayne Smith, Johnson Charles, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Darren Sammy (Capt), Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Krishmar Santokie, Sheldon Cottrell.
England: Alex Hales, Michael Lumb, Moeen Ali, Eoin Morgan (Capt), Jos Buttler (wk), Ravi Bopara, Ben Stokes, Chris Jordan, James Tredwell, Stephen Parry, Jade Dernbach.

Now that is what you call a start to a T20 innings, it makes a hell of a difference if you don't lose wickets, and England makes 64-0 from the PowerPlay... The W-Indies seemed to be tinkering with their format, trying some faster deliveries, and it didn't work out...

Lumb makes 63 and Hales 38, and a partnership of 98 for the 1st wicket, then it went to pot a bit, but Jordan smacks 26 off the last over to give England a decent total.

    ENGLAND 165-6

Time for a bit of role reversal as first ball and Dernbach is celebrating as Dwayne Smith chops it onto his wicket, a nice wicket maiden to begin with.
Jordan then catches Johnson Charles off his bowling in the 2nd over, and England seem squarely in the driving seat.
Samuels also chops on in the 5th over to give Jordan his 2nd wicket and 28-3. The W-Indies make 35-3 from the PowerPlay, it definitely is role reversal here!!!

The W-Indies keep within sight, it's 9, then 10 an over but with a couple of overs left they are virtually at the same score that England had, and with the power hitters the W-Indies have, the game may be changing around...

Dernbach gets to bowl the last over with 17 more for the W-Indies to win, and Sammy gets close, it could be a super over coming up, but the last ball is a wide but Sammy hits it and England end up the victors..

WEST INDIES 160-7 and lose by 5 runs...

An improved performance from England coupled with a few clangers from the W-Indies, but a win is a win, I hope they know who their first team choices will be out in Bangladesh.

I didn't think the West Indies were going to be a push over and so it proved. Jason Holder looked like a very talented player during the World Cup and good to see him continuing to perform.

Might be worth giving Rashid a game, probably instead of Jordan, but I think Tredwell has done enough to retain his place. Moeen Ali will get back into the side at some stage and it will be interesting to see how he bowls this year. There was a feeling that he was a little fortunate to take so many wickets against India last year, so this year could prove his worth to the team one way or another

Yeah id agree okokitsad, i think its about time the england board give rashid a chance and prove himself, no one has really stepped u to the calibre of swann and personall chucking tredwell in is not gonna give us a match winning bowler , whoich we need to prepare for in the ashes. A leggie is always an exciting chance and rashid can actually bat too and has good variations on the ball and spin the ball , worth giving a chance in my opinion
