  So GrandDuke are you saying they aren't even allowed to show underwear at any point? Just a woman sitting there fully clothed at all times and for all calls?

  Yes you got it in one. Even on the night show when a caller is asking to see what is under their dress, not unreasonably. If that sounds like a crazy situation to you like it does to me, you wonder who came up this 'brilliant money-making' idea. I just don't get it and unfortunately, neither does anyone spending money on calls to them either.
  
  Watch some of the videos I have recorded recently for posterity and you will see that I am not exaggerating.

  Browsing another website forum I discovered a very interesting observation by someone. When age verification comes in next May, there is an advantage in not showing anything indecent away from pervcam. You just need to train customers to pay to use pervcam to see anything juicy and show them nothing the rest of the time. Then you do not need to worry about the new age verification laws at all or the costs involved in implementing them.
  
  This seems to be exactly the strategy currently being adopted by Thai Chat. When I wildly speculated that this was a test pilot to see how the idea pans out in reality, it seems I may have unknowingly hit the nail on the head. This indeed could be a trial for how all channels will be managed from May next year on here.
  
  To quote the post verbatim "For shows that are viewable without age verification it needs to be at the same level that the Sky Daytime shows are. I think their strategy is to get people used to having to go into pervcam, and then next year they will tame down the free to web views shows to TV Daytime level".

  If this is indeed what is happening to Thai Chat, the days of fun and sexy shows may indeed be numbered. Let's hope that this is not the case.

  If that is what is happening, BS won't survive. Pervcam can never replace a live naked show. That would be a mass exodus, making the loss of Thai Chat business look minor in comparison. Don't you think they will go to some version of subscription for explicit content, like they used to at a certain time of evening they shift over to "harder" stuff but this time available only to those who have a password? If Thai Chat did that, I might consider the investment, but if it's going to be pervcam or nothing forever, I'll be long gone.

  Yes until I read that post the idea never occurred to me but I certainly agree that if the channels all played by Thai Chat rules, the mass exodus that has occurred for this channel will be replicated across all the channels.

  My  idea as to how this may pan out next year is that a VIP subscription would be required to view the videos and channels giving any hint of nudity. Age verification would be implicit in the credit card checks so the new laws would not be contravened.
  
  Channels showing daytime censorship could still have unrestricted access. This would still leave the door open to return to sexier shows from Thai Chat. We still live in hope that this will return in the future.

  The idea that was being circulated on how the law would work for most porn sites is that a third party would provide the age verification process for a fee. Only the large ones would be able to do this themselves cost effectively.
  
  One way forward that is being suggested is that one of these third parties, who happen to own some of the largest porn websites on the internet, would ask a user to create an account with them and use that to log into every porn website they come to, which would provide the age verification required at little inconvenience for the viewer. However, the downside is that this party would then collect all your personal and very private viewing habits linked to your personal information. This would be a gold mine commercially and would soon become the holy grail for the world's hackers.  
  
  Once hacked this could be sold on the dark net to criminal gangs to start a global blackmail operation the like of of which has never been seen before. Thanks to our wonderful government, who rushed through this law, only UK based citizens would be targeted.
  
  In 6 months time all will be revealed and the internet world will be a very different place for us Brits.

  How do you think access to the BS sites might work for people not in the UK (e.g., on the continent)?
