  I am curious to know as to which music genre you all like.
  I myself listen to all genres of music, but I am more partial to a dose of Rock/Metal.
  So what is your favourite genre?

  Rock/Metal..yeah, nice one Leifalcock. I do like/enjoy a range of different genres but the bulk of my collection is without a doubt made up of Rock and Metal. I love a lot of the stuff, in general, from the 70's and 80's. I do enjoy some dance music but am more likely to seek out individual tracks as opposed to albums/artists. Not a fan of classical/orchestral music for 10 or so months of the year but on the run up to xmas, its a different story.

  I generally listen to 70's, 80's Rock/Metal, but I do listen to some Pop(even though it is kinda all the same.) I can not abide Rap(it's so aggressive and offencive) or club/dance. Music todayis so bad!!
  But I do christmas tunes too, I do not know why. :D

  My favourite genre's are Metal and Rock! Mostly 70's and early 80's, before MTV and the all that fake bullshit came in! I'd chose Black Sabbath as my favourite metal band and Led Zeppelin as my favourite rock band. Well, Jimi Hendrix Experience is close to Led Zeppelin. I also like some of the early Van Halen albums, before they went soft mid 80's! The last good heavy metal album I bought was the latest and last Black Sabbath album 13! Still a good band. The only downside is being released today, it's very compressed and that pisses me right off!
  
  I don't actually buy many CD's these days the bands aren't as good, the sound is compressed and I'm not the biggest fan of digital :)

  I do not buy many CD's either, if I do they are mainly by oldschool band's. I do not like/do digital download. My favourite band's are between Motley Crue, Metalicca and Linkin Park.

  Not bad taste mate! I'm not into Motley Crue these days, although I still like an odd song here and there of their's. I do like Linkin Park and especially Metallica. I guess you could call Metallica either heavy metal or thrash metal. Ride the Lightening is still one of my favourite albums of all time. It's nice to see they've gone back to being more of a thrash band again these days. That said I still enjoy their more, heavy metal albums like Load and Reload.
  
  It's nice to know there are some guys on here who are into good bands and not soft ass music lol :)
