I amy have got this wrong but I hope not. When you call the credit card number all of the charges for the call are taken out of your credit card balance . However if you say use the phone at work what number shows up on the bill and do they get charged anyhting for the call ?

I'm not entirely sure, but i know on a bank statement the charge for topping up the credit on rampant is Telephone Advice or something like that, not entirely sure it would be the same on a phone bill though, i use a mobile to call the show when i call, not sure if that helps.

Hi Jessyloydfan thanks for your advice I know that the main call is charged to me through the credit card but I just want to make sure that there is not charge that is going on to the main telephone line as well. Using a mobile is a good idea but as mine is a company mobile as well then I have the same problem.
Will have to see what other answers I get .

Just to confirm that the number you call for Credit Card still displays as Telephone Advice on your bill.

Thank you FM but are any charges applied to the telephone account or are they all paid for by the credit card ?

You are only charged what you would normally be charged to call any normal land-line number.
