These factors all contribute to make it impossible for the girls to bring about a rapport with new customers. With all the other girls you can have a bit of a banter which will encourage many people to subsequently ring. This must seriously affect their ability to gain new business.

It also denies them the opportunity to give a shout out to callers, something which a lot of people look forward to when they ring a girl. Also when technical problems occur, the girls are often left in the dark about what is happening and there is no way of giving them feedback. One fan even paid to go onto their pervcam, just so he could explain to one of them that the stream was down and that is why she was getting no calls. This would never need to happen with other channels with their instant communication denied to Thai Chat.

Other problems they have to overcome that are not directly related to communicating with their fans include;

5. Unlike the 2 shows just mentioned and regular Babestation channels, they are never allowed a scheduled web show any more.
6. They are denied the opportunity to do night shows unlike every other channel. The only exception to this is from 4am to 5am when virtually the entire nation is asleep. The girls are ready to put on a show but to hardly any callers.
7. There is a common misconception, continually perpetuated by some long standing members of the chat, that the girls are all ladyboys, when in fact 8 of the 9 girls who currently work on the channel are 100% girl. Needless to say, this discourages many people from even visiting their channel as they don't want a nasty shock. As they are on TV the whole time, that is never going to happen anyway.

This is why I feel I have to promote the channel and its girls as much as possible. For me that is posting in the forum about them and recording lots of videos to showcase them. Also tirelessly campaigning to improve the channel and the way the girls are presented on it.

At least the girls know about all this and voice their appreciation to me whenever I phone them, which is nice of them I think.

I was only referring to the girls who do the day shows, comparing like with like, seeing as the Thai girls are not allowed to work nights and can only do day shows.

Half the daytime chat is girls interacting with chat box members and drumming up business for themselves, which the Thai girls unfortunately cannot do.

Well at last my project to engineer an audience-driven sexy show in the evening, is beginning to show some signs of promise. At first it was just me ringing at 10pm but now some others have started too. Lots of people on the chat don't seem to understand what is going on but love it all the same.

A common misconception amongst members on the chat box is that Babestation have extended their hours to incorporate a short but sexy webshow. Those who think this are then disappointed when it abruptly finishes when the girl performing finishes her call.

I have tried to point out to people that they HAVE to ring if they want the show to continue, or even to start in the first place. Bad news for freeloaders of course, of which there are plenty, who never ring anybody.

Sexy after-shows are now becoming much more common, from once a week when I started phoning Amy and Daisy, to nearly every day now. That is great news and is self-generating as more and more people catch on about it.

My hope is that Babestation will see that the demand is there for a show from 10pm to 11pm and allow the girls to perform at that time when their TV show will have finished.

Even better would be to do the show on TV after 10pm, as they would get even more business. However, even if it was only a web show, that would be a massive step forward.

Are we to conclude that girls are more likely to put on a decent show if you actually call them?
