Village post office worker sold cocaine alongside stamps
A post office worker was dubbed ‘Deirdre the Dealer’ in her village after she began selling coke alongside stamp at her little shop in Parcllyn, west Wales. Tbf, is there anything else to do in Wales other than get high?

45-year-old Deirdre Jenkins, started selling coke to friends and regular customers and even allowed some of them to have the drugs on tick, which is never a good idea in my opinion. No one wants to pay for gear they’ve already sniffed. One dude when managed to rack up a whopping £3,000 on tick.

When Deirdre started demanding payment from her customers things got nasty and they dobbed her in to the police. I guess they really didn’t want to pay for their drugs.

What police searched Deirdre the Dealer’s home they found three wraps of cocaine in her handbag and eight grams hidden in a cupboard in her bedroom. They also found £1,200 in cash in her house that is right next door to her post office. When police checked Deirdre’s phone they also discovered texts about drug deals including a message to the dude that owed her £3,000. Here’s what prosecutor Jim Davis had to say:

Quote:It appeared that Jenkins had become fed up of giving customers cocaine “on tick” and had told some to go to other dealers.

Sounds like poor Deirdre had enough of all the freeloaders. Deirdre later appeared at Swansea Crown Court where she pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply. However, the judge took pity on her and handed her a two year suspended sentence instead of jail time.
