videos not playing

ive noticed recently that the video section will not play anything, is it a technical fault ,can anyone shed any light on the reason why ?

For the last week or so the videos will not appear and play just get a message that the format is not recognised.

Has the format changed as I have tried everal browsers and video player but cannot view them. Tried also several laptops and tablets nut to no avail.
