  Do i have to cancel my existing subscription and then take out new subscription or just buy new subscription. Dont want to be paying twice

  If you go to MY VIP you will get the option to upgrade your subscription, you don't have to cancel your current subscription. You will be charged for Diamond though when you upgrade (and you will have already been charged for this month's Gold subscription). Bear in mind it will be at the discounted price. It's also useful to know that you won't be charged for Gold anymore once you become Diamond.
