Uncharted;Drakes Fortune Movie

I heard about this a while ago when the director of the fighter was still involved but they`ve since got rid of him because his plot idea was basically some totally different story with the games name attached,
the director now is the same guy who did the movie limitless, i`ve never seen it so don`t know how good he is.
I`m of two minds about this on the one hand i think a film of uncharted could be great done well, but the ratio of good videogame movies to bad ones isn`t exactly great,
what do other uncharted fans think?
