  So then, what about all those songs / artists you thought were really great but were never heard from again (unlike some artists you just wished you never heard from again...). I guess a few will be comedy / special one offs or collaborations, but there must be a few out there you know of. I guess for this we can class a hit as top ten or so.
  Please share your one off memories... and have a little fun..
  First up for me is Zager & Evans, In the year 2525 from 1969...
  
  
  
  Next 1978 and Those Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats & Dogs
  
  
  
  a little jump up to 1982 and the Goombay Dance Band (I know you remember them...)

  nice selections hotknob, but Soft Cell had a load of other top ten hits as did Eddy Grant !!!
  anyway a couple more, first up fellow countryman Ricky Valance all the way from 1960, can you believe it... (obviously this vid is a little later on).
  
  
  
  now from 1968, some of that Crazy Arthur Brown and Fire !!! (hands up those you've ever belted this out on karaoke?)

  Nice one Bob, the BeeB banning things, makes you laugh doesn't it especially now with all the latest hoo-ha going on. They also banned FGTH's Relax which kept one of my favourite songs, Queen's Radio Gaga off the top spot...

  Nice Hot Knob, Lee Marvin's Wandrin Star is a true classic; If people haven't seen Paint Your Wagon, then I suggest you do, you'll enjoy it.
  
  A couple more now, and it's Michelle from the Overlanders from way back in 1966.
  
  
  
  on to more modern times, you must have heard Asereje or the Ketchup Song from 2002, it got re-released with an Xmas vid also, I thought the babes were pretty hot.. and over 7 million sales isn't bad either.
  
  
  
  and if you like a little of Mambo then Mambo No.5 with Lou Bega from 1999 will sort you out... unfortunately? his follow up song charted outside the top 40.

  This one only made it to #3 in 1986 as the Sly Fox duo didn't last that long, but I think Let's Go All The Way is a pretty good song;
  
  
  
  and this one only made it to #6 in 1983, their follow up Uprock only made it to the 60's in the chart the following year; so start your body poppin and get some Baby Love cos it's (Hey You) The Rock Steady Crew (ext version) ...
  
  
  
  This one did get to #1 with a reworking of Mad World in December 2003, Michael Andrews and Gary Jules...
