that wasn't fedor anymore, you needed to watch him from about 2002 until he beat tim sylvia, that was pretty much his last top performance. and watching those fights now, while still impressive, is just not the same anymore because so much has happened since - back then there was NO ONE like him, you couldn't even imagine jon jones etc. even anderson was not as dominant.
plus the thing that is impressive to this day is that he's smaller that jones and anderson and yet he fought at heavyweight
it was his demeanor too. so calm, so modest, but crazy explosive as soon as the fight starts
his problem is that people see him like you see him - the back end of his career when he just wasn't the same guy anymore at all. if he was like 10 years younger he could have done a lot better publicity wise.
