  he was throwing alot of punches but catching nothing but air,u remember when he first came to ufc they way he throws punches like 1000 punches a fight lol,but then he found out no one can hang with him on the ground ,and i was as shocked as mr wonderful when they called his name lol i didnt think he won that at all

  the best example of one of those that i remember is when rampage beat machida via decision lol.
  
  it was the same thing - rampage moving forward and landing nothing, machida moving back also landing not much and rampage won rounds 1 and 2 for octagon control or whatever. then right at the end of round 3 machida started kicking his ass but couldn't finish so they gave decision to rampage for winning first two rounds and when joe asked him if he surprised he was like "yea, machida kicked my ass" lol!!! most honest post fight interview ever lol

  ye that rampage vs machida was pretty bad to but this was worst i think,these judges man smh lol they need to get it together ,i know its hard but come on

  KIND of machida's fault though that one. i mean the thing about lyoto is that he just won't compromise on his style. i think if you fought every fight forever he'd win 99% of them cuz the guys is LITERALLY willing to wait any amount of time for a chance to counter, but a fight is only 3 or 5 rounds man, you gotta attack some fukkin time and in the fight against davis he just didn't.
  
  i mean no one can force him to take a risk and try to finish or at least attack, but then he has to accept the risk of such shitty decisions too.
  
  dana talks a lot of shit about "leaving it in the hands of the judges", but machida sometimes REALLY leaves it in their hands lol

  ye lyoto cant really be mad at a bad call if your style is backing up and trying to counter people,it doesnt look good in the judges eyes plus your not winning on octagon control

  yea maybe he got spoiled by the first fight against shogun which shogun clearly won hands down but the judges gave it to lyoto anyway. well whatever i still like him as a fighter a lot. his fight against rashad was the best example of what he does well. back up, back up, and then suddenly blitz the opponent with quick strikes

  ye rashad got a beating in that fight ,wasnt that the 1st time rashad got knocked out? and that was when rashad was a fkn beast after he knocked out chuck liddel

  yea that's when rashad had the title for just a little while and i think it was his first loss or at least his first loss in a long time or something. but yea he was never quite the same after that one i think.
  
  he should have moved to MW much earlier. i honestly think he had a great chance to beat anderson silva. i think his wrestling was comparable to chael sonnen, his athleticism was better and he was an ok enough striker to get the fight to the ground and work it there...

  ye that goes for most fighters once u get knocked out that 1st time u can get knocked out alot more easy the 2nd time,lol look at gray maynard he gets knocked out one time after going on a run adn then gets knocked out in his 4 next fights in a row

  hhmmm yea maybe it's all about how you bounce back from losses and all that, wonder when (if? lol) it will happen to jon jones. i mean it'll happen eventually but i wonder if it'll happen while he is in his prime or not...
