You’d have to be a clinical moron not to realise that blacking up your face is a totally unacceptable thing to do. However one TV presenter over in Bosnia thought it was a totally acceptable way to honour the memory of George Floyd. Er, what?!
Hana Hadziavdagic Tabakovic thought it would be a great idea to edit a photo of herself to make her skin appear darker as her way of showing support to George Floyd and Black Lives Matter. Here’s the before pic:
AND....the after pic:
Yikes. Here’s what Hana wrote to caption the pic:
Quote:In a racist society, it’s not enough to just say that you are not a racist. One should be loud against racism.
Obviously she ripped mercilessly online for her ridiculous attempt at solidarity so she swiftly deleted the pic and made this apology:
Quote:I apologise publicly if I offended anyone, it was not my intention. Whoever wanted to understand why I did it, they understood, whoever seeks something bad in all good, that speaks for itself. If anyone on social media is fighting for equality, human rights and love, then that is me.
Yeah I really don’t know what the fuck she was thinking!
