Trespass against us

Despite, immediatly before this post. meĀ slagging off the messy snooze fest that is 'Assassins Creed'..heres classic proof that you cant always blame the actors of actresses in a film for said film being rubbish. Where Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson play father and son in the pretty terrible 'Assassins Creed' they also play father and son in the far superior drama 'Trespass against us'. The film tells of Fassbender's family man with young children looking to escape the criminal ways of his outlaw travelling group, led by his overbearing, much revered father. Asides from a couple of high speed chases, this doesnt rely on action as such..this is very much a drama piece with the occassional spattering of darkly comic humour. Throughout though, the films leads at the very least deliver fantastic performances with strong support from most others involved as well. All in all, a very strong watch that i supspect down the line will warrent a repeat viewing or two.
