  They're back and this time they're going prehistoric. Thankfully Stephen Caple Jr is in the director's chair instead of Michael Bay. Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Luna Lauren Vélez are in the lead roles and Peter Cullen is back as the voice of Optimus Prime.

  This feels a bit more like a commercial for Porsche, than a trailer for a Transformers film. Antony Ramos does look like a great choice as the lead actor though.

  Looks really good want to see this when it comes out, should be action packed and love the Transformers movie have been the prequel movie Bumblebee yet. Loved the rest of them and nice to see them bring in the beast now I did expect it as some point. Would have liked to see them at some point do a movie like we got in the animated movie which was a classic.  Should be good not sure where the story is going with this one. But hopefully with a new director its still shooting all cylinders and got some good classic Transformers in this one. This Trailer looks pretty good.

  The call backs to the original animated film have actually got me slightly excited to see this. The choice of Coleman Domingo to join the voice cast is perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if Ultra Magnus and Rodimus Prime make a cameo appearance. Ramos and Fishback are very good dramatic actors, so I hope they're given an emotional character arc.. Capel junior's directing is very good too, which is highlighted be the tracking shot at the end during the battle, that'll probably be the third act action sequence.

  After almost twenty years and on it's seventh attempt, I've finally watched a live-action Transformers film that I've enjoyed. Credit to Caple Jr, I hope he gets more director's jobs because of this and Creed 2. Ramos in the lead role has a interesting backstory and emotional character arc, Fishback is solid as always in her role as the brains of the team. The voice cast of Cullen, Davidson, Perlman, Yeoh, Fernandez and Dinklage are all good too. The ending is really good and in the tradition of most blockbusters now, it leaves a small plot thread that can be explored in more films. With it being a follow up to Bumblebee, they use the setting of 90's New York and the popular music of that era perfectly with it's use of rap music throughout the film.
