  The deadline is tomorrow! And by the looks of it (it might not be, mind) the pace is picking up.
  
  Mirko Vucinic in talks with Arsenal and looks set to join on loan until the end of the season. All that chat about the Gunners sending a delegation over to Germany may have been wide of the mark, but can we rule out the possibility that they're doing it over the phone? Or Skype? Or Facebook? We can't, and by that reckoning the Julian Draxler deal is still ON! Apparently the chap who deals with Schalke's transfer negotiations is called Dick Law. Worth knowing.
  
  Wenger's also got his eye on Barca pair Cristian Tello and Isaac Cuenca, Liverpool fancy the latter too. He's a winger, just like that Yevhen Konoplyanka they're after, and for whom Spurs have entered the race.
  
  Luuk De Jong has signed for Newcastle on loan until the end of the season, but that move for Clement Grenier might have to wait til the summer, as might Kurt Zouma's £12.4m Chelsea switch.
  
  How we laughed at the rumours of Adel Taarabt going to Milan yesterday. He signed this morning.
  
  Sunderland will sign Brighton's Liam Bridcutt for £3m today, and promptly move Lee Cattermole on to Stoke, for £5m. They're due a bit of decent transfer business, in fairness.
  
  The Toni Kroos to Man Utd rumours aren't going away. It won't happen, but they're not going away. Nani might though, to Inter. Loan move, with a view to a permanent.
  
  Juve have confirmed their interest in Dani Osvaldo and for some unknown reason Notts Forest have signed Danny Fox.
  
  Johnny Heitinga's been given permission to speak to a 'couple of clubs', West Ham presumably not being being one of them.

  Argentinian striker Ignacio Scocco has joined Sunderland on a 2 year deal, while defender Modibo Diakité (one of the many Di Canio signings that didn't 'quite' work out) has joined Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee.
  
  It looks like Tom Ince will be heading to Crystal Palace after Swansea pulled out of the race for the Blackpool winger. It seems they weren't too fussed about paying a hefty loan fee and wages when he'd likely be going elsewhere in the summer anyways. Ivan Ramis is at Selhurst Park too, having a medical.
  
  Says here that the Swans have had a £3m bid for Jack Cork turned down.
  
  William Kvist has joined Fulham on a loan deal from Stuttgart and should Arsenal end up signing Mirko Vucinic, they might want to have a word with him about these kind of antics...

  Wilfried Zaha's completed his loan move to Cardiff.
  
  Jason Puncheon's about to make his Palace loan deal permanent, and will cost £1.75m.
  
  West Ham are after former Leeds winger Max Gradel, currently turning out for 90s dance outfit St Etienne.
  
  Joseph Yobo's having talks with Norwich about a loan move from Fenerbache.
  
  And Fulham have had a bid for Phil Bardsley rejected. Looking forward to seeing what manner of desperate shit they try and pull tomorrow...
