Luis Suarez only said last week that he'd be staying put in the summer, but when Real are keen, they're keen. It is at least good news for Man City, safe as they are in the knowledge that Sergio Aguero's out of the picture. For now.
It's not all going Madrid's way though. Chelsea are considering a £36m bid for Sami Khedira, with the Germany midfielder seen as an ideal replacement/massive upgrade on the Inter-bound Jon Obi Mikel (yep). Demba Ba's off too, to West Ham, for £8m.
Arsenal and Manchester City are keeping an eye on Javi Martinez, who's apparently unhappy with life at Bayern Munich. Wenger's gonna see how that one pans out before doing anything hasty with regards to Lars Bender, which is fair enough, but it works both ways don't it? He'll just as likely stop where he is (Leverkusen) and be joined there by another Arsenal target, Josip Drmic. Then Martinez will pick City anyway, as will Bacary Sagna. And what will Arsene have then? Nothing, that's what.
Busy times for Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers talking about adding six or seven new faces. One of them may well be Benfica playmaker Nicolas Gaitan (£20m), and another Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo. Though not if Atletico have anything to do with it...
Cardiff fire sale, anyone? Besiktas, Valencia and Malaga are making eyes at Gary Medel, and Spurs are getting their double swoop on for the benefit of David Marshall and Steven Caulker, who they only sold a year ago.
Touch of the Pogbas about it, this one... Man Utd youngster Will Keane is a target for Juventus. If he does end up in Turin though he'll do well to steer clear of Dani Osvaldo's fists. The on-loan Southampton man is eying a permanent move. Speaking of the Saints, they might be about to sign Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier, just so long as Newcastle or Arsenal don't get there first.
