  Chris Baird has joined West Brom from Burnley and Steven Reid has gone the other way. Both were out of contract though so anyone on the lookout for a SWAP DEAL! will have to hold on a little longer.
  
  Alexis Sanchez and Luis Suarez don't seem to be obliging either, but with the Scousers on the verge of wrapping up a £25m deal for Lazar Markovic, shelling out another £10m on Divock Origi and Dejan Lovren's head 'already at Liverpool' that £75m looks to be pretty much spent anyway.
  
  Sanchez could be off to Arsenal instead, and word is that a fee of £34m has been agreed. Arsene Wenger's also revived his interest in Lars Bender and a deal for Newcastle right-back Mathieu Debuchy is all sorts of imminent.
  
  Southampton will bid £8m for Cardiff keeper David Marshall and replace Luke Shaw with Colombia left-back Pablo Armero, Michael Dawson's off to Hull after rejecting West Ham and QPR and Ashley Cole's signing for Roma. Not taking the MLS dollar. Well done him.

  You gotta remember liverpool have champions league money this year as well, so money isn't a problem and they've never been shy in transfer market. Bet they're hoping sanchez changes his mind.

  Every transfer window sees tall tales of high profile swap deals , they never seem to happen. Today i read somewhere that one is pogba for di maria. Papers make up ridiculous swaps that just won't happen, this isn't pokemon cards, maybe the swap involving reid and baird maybe will happen as contracts are out etc, just swapping clubs not actual contracts!

  Yeah it's rare you will see a big swap deal between top clubs and class players. Last one I can think of was Eto'o and Ibrahimovic. To be fair to Sanchez I wouldn't want to go to liverpool if Saurez is leaving.
