TRANSFER RUMOURS! 3rd March

So this is a pretty cool trick. First you take the name of some continental youngster that no-one's heard of. You could just make one up but how hard is it to Google an under-21 squad list these days? Fee speculation is optional but you must double up on interested parties, two big clubs battling it out for the nipper beats a one horse race every time. Got all that? Good, let's go.
Arsenal and Man Utd will have to pay at least £8m to sign Red Bull Salzburg defender Martin Hinteregger, Liverpool, and United again, are keeping tabs on Inter's Ibrahima Mbaye and City, and Liverpool, again, are keen on Feyenoord midfielder Rodney Kongolo, who just so happens to be the 'new Patrick Vieira' (bonus point!).
Enjoyed that.
Hey, what's all this talk of Mats Hummels not joining Man Utd 'if' they don't qualify for the Champions League? They're 'definitely' not qualifying for the Champions League. Luckily, David Moyes has realised as much and has been scouting Freiburg's Matthias Ginter instead. Santiago Arias from PSV too, though of course it's possible both are fictional.
Doesn't look like those Alvaro Morata to Arsenal rumours are going anywhere. £15m, in the summer, hopefully. Wenger's keen on Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann too, who's French. He used to sign French players all the time...
If Cardiff get relegated and Spurs don't qualify for the Champions League, then Steven Caulker and Jan Vertonghen could be off to Liverpool. It's hard to imagine Chelsea letting any such convoluted set of circumstances getting in the way of John Obi Mikel moving to Inter though, or Samuel Eto'o. The Nerazzurri are quite taken by Etienne Capoue too. That one, at least, should be waved through by Daniel Levy, right after he packs Roberto Soldado off to Atletico Madrid.
Everton are willing to make Gareth Barry's loan move permanent and pay him £50k a week for the next 3 years, and Hull are keen on Johan Djourou but best of all, Ashley Williams to Napoli.
