You know what Liverpool's problem is? The reason for their slow start to the season? Not enough new attackers that aren't quite as good as Luis Suarez to shoehorn in to their system. Thankfully, Brendan Rodgers has realised as much and will move for Napoli's Marek Hamsik and Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac in January. Arsenal, also notoriously light in that area of the pitch, are keen on the latter as well.
Ashley Young. It's funny when you think about how he's employed by Man Utd, but he'd probably do a job for a team with slightly less lofty ambitions. Sunderland and Villa are keen, along with Southampton, who'll also make Ryan Bertrand's loan move permanent in the new year. Back to United, Valencia quite like the cut of Juan Mata's jib and are lurking with 30 million big ones. They'll hand em over too, but not before they've borrowed him for a January-June stretch.
Not that he was going there in the first place, but Eden Hazard definitely wont't be joining PSG. He'll sign a new contract worth £220,000 a week instead. Jose Mourinho wants a piece of Everton right-back Seamus Coleman too apparently.
Marco Reus has said no thanks to Dortmund's offer of a new deal. You can probably guess where that one's headed. And in other dragging-their-heels news, Villa's Fabian Delph reluctance to put pen to paper has got Arsenal and Everton all on red alert and ting.
Lastly, word has it Sir Alex Ferguson phoned Cristiano Ronaldo last week. Wonder what they talked about?
