TRANSFER RUMOURS! 22nd April

Look out. Once Real Madrid have raises a few quid by selling Karim Benzema they'll bid £70m (maybe £90m, who's counting?) for Luis Suarez. Failing that, Sergio Aguero instead. Either way, it's serious.
You'd think Barcelona would want to keep hold of their players, what with that 12 month transfer ban and everything. Maybe they do, but that's not stopping Man City from thinking about a £250m bid for Messi. Or Man Utd from going back in for Cesc Fabregas. Or the pair of them from making eyes at Pedro. Or Cristian Tello being linked with a £12m move to Liverpool. They're apparently looking to get a piece of David Luiz in retaliation, but again, transfer ban.
Word is that Thibault Courtois is about to sign a contract extension at Chelsea, as if that will somehow put an end to speculation about his future. Is it not more likely that there'll just be a couple more years of him being farmed out on loan? It's no sort of closure.
Romelu Lukaku moving permanently to Everton is more like it, and the Toffees are hoping to pull a similar trick with Gareth Barry too. So far, so good, but where have these Tom Cleverly rumours come from? It's like Darron Gibson all over again, but worse.
Arsenal will flog Thomas Vermaelen to either Napoli or Chelsea and replace him with Chris Smalling, who'll cost £13m. And that's not even the end of it, Danny Welbeck's unsettled and could be heading for the Emirates too, though not if Tottenham have anything to do with it (which they probably don't).
If PSG can't get Paul Pogba off Juve then Man City might want to keep an eye on Yaya Toure's movements. Better safe than sorry innit, though if the Old Lady can trouser a bit of cash for Pogba then they mightn't need to be haggling over Dani Osvaldo. They're offering £7m, Southampton want £15m. Adam Lallana won't be going cheap either, turns out Bournemouth are due 25% of any fee.
And Alan Pardew reckons Loic Remy might be tempted to stay at Newcastle. Right you are!
