James Rodriguez will be a Real Madrid player real soon. And with Toni Kroos also needing a spot in the side that could mean a Liverpool loan move for Isco. Sami Khedira's on/off move to Arsenal might even get resurrected too.
The Scousers have agreed a fee of £8.5m with QPR for Loic Remy, but if we're assuming they wanted to offload Fabio Borini first then that one may have hit a snag on account of the Italian having rejected a £14m move to Sunderland. Dejan Lovren's arrival at Anfield should prove to be more straightforward, unless of course Chelsea, just like they did with Will.I.An and Mohamed Salah, pile in with a last-minute bid. Word is they bloody well might.
Mauricio Pochettino wants to take Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin to Spurs, and the latter is so keen to hook up with his former boss he's willing to turn down Arsenal and Champions League football. Admirable, but at the same time a risky strategy given Daniel Levy's fondness for sacking managers. Sticking with Tottenham, Ben Davies and Michael Vorm look set to join from Swansea in exchange for Gylfi Sigurdsson and £5m. Once that's all sorted Danny Rose will be packed off to Hull for £6m.
Patrice Evra has completed his £1.2m move to Juventus. Louis van Gaal might sort of replace him with sort-of-left-back Daley Blind and while we're here, Stefan de Vrij is a target too. It's relevant cause they're all Dutch.
Micah Richards is well aware that no-one's going to meet City's £7m valuation of Micah Richards, so is angling for a loan move instead. Manuel Pellegrini's also looking to get shot of Matija Nastasic and Javi Martinez.
