Jermain Defoe is 32. Sunderland have offered him a three-and-a-half year deal worth £80,000 a week. A £14m outlay all told, and he's (not surprisingly) undergoing a medical as we speak. Jozy Altidore's apparently heading to Toronto as part of the deal, so the Black Cats might not have completely taken leave of their senses.
Wifried Bony to Man City is DONE, DONE, DONE! £25m down, with a further £3m in add-ons. Swansea will look to replace the big man's goals by offering £4m for Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton, a move that could pave the way for Neil Taylor's departure to Crystal Palace or West Brom.
Word is the Baggies are closing in on Rickie Lambert too. The fairytale's over, unless of course Tony Pulis signs Blackburn striker Rudy Gestede instead.
The Jay Rodriguez to Man City rumours are still lurking, despite the fact he's still injured. Anyhow, surely the smart money's on Southampton spending a few quid to cement their top four place? £15m on Braga winger Rafa Silva and £5m on Tonny Vilhena from Koeman's old club Feyenoord, for starters. Who knows, maybe another centre half as cover for Alderweireld while they're at it.
Arsenal and Spurs are squabbling over Espanyol's Mexico defender Hector Moreno, West Ham quite fancy making Alex Song's loan move permanent, and Burnley are all up on that Graham Dorrans for £2.5m hype. But then, who isn't?
