Not hanging about are they? Man Utd have actually made a £27m bid for Luke Shaw and Liverpool have actually put an offer in for Adam Lallana. Could be a very long summer for Southampton, and one wonders whether they'll end it with enough players to even field a team. They could sign replacements, sure, but who's to say the new boys won't be picked off too?
Valencia are welcome to Dani Osvaldo though.
Sticking with United and Liverpool, both are keen on Barcelona's former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song. And the fun doesn't stop there, not for the Scousers anyway, they're also after Javier Mascherano, Ashley Williams and Torino winger Alessio Cerci. Busy.
Atletico Madrid have made an offer for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, which can only mean one thing... Diego Costa to Chelsea! Talks have begun, apparently. That should clear the way for Demba Ba's (not Lukaku?) £10m to Everton and unlike the rest of us, Inter haven't given up on Fernando Torres. Or Tom Ince.
If the prospect of trying to persuade Javi Martinez to join Arsenal over Man City wasn't daunting enough, Arsene Wenger's got Barcelona to worry about as well now, and they're willing to bid more than £30m for the Bayern Munich man. Still, Kim Kallstrom's available.
Neither of Fabian Delph and Andreas Weimann are French, so talk of the Villa pair heading to Newcastle in a £15m double move should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.
Hull quite the look of Frazier Campbell's £800,000 relegation release clause, and City, United, Liverpool and Real Madrid quite like the look of Ashley Cole, who'll cost even less. Bosman innit.
