  I remember when the talk was Gordon was gonna be next top keeper after Sunderland paid all that money for him, then he had those injuries and has barely played.

  As a big spurs fan, I see they are leaving it to the last minute to buy any new players.With the competitors buying up everything in sight it is unlikely that we will pick up any marquee players. Arsenal,Man City,United ,Chelsea and Liverpool have all picked up great players, and are beating us in the moves for others as well, Ben davies as mentioned above looks likely to liverpool, and ricardo rodrigez we've been linked with the suiss left sided player. I can't see us finishing above any of the above teams and we will be destined to play Europa football again...I'm not optimistic this year as all teams look busy and improving apart from the sorry spurs :(

  Yeah it looks like tottenham will be fighting for fifth place at best I think. You still haven't replaced bale, but team should be better after a year together. Was crazy how many new players they bought last year.

  That much is true however the first of three qualifiers for the champions league starts tonight (BBC Scotland 20:00) for anyone that's interested.
  
  Celtic don't need to sell but will if the price is right, Hell any club would.

  Yeah celtic will always be able to attract decent players that can win them the league for fairly cheap, so when they get offered good money for a player it makes sense to sell.
