Poor old Man Utd. They might not land any of their top transfer targets this summer and could end up having to settle for Luka Modric. They’ll pay Real Madrid £25m, but they won’t be happy about it.
One of the players who won’t be strutting it at Old Trafford is Cesc Fabregas. After telling friends who told the Mirror he wanted to join last week, another mob (maybe the same lot) have told the Sun he’s not interested. I’ll say it again, keep it to yourself Cesc.
Go on then, Gareth Bale! The Daily Mail reckon £85m plus a player will be enough to persuade Daniel Levy to let him go. It’s assumed Real Madrid will be his destination but Man Utd are keen too according to the Mirror. We’re all keen.
Arsene Wenger won’t be increasing the £40m bid for Luis Suarez and will let the transfer go to the wire if he has to. He’ll probably be alright with missing out and not signing anyone as well. It’s the Arsenal way.
Chelsea won’t be listening to any offers for Sideshow Dave, thanks very much. And Jose Mourinho wants to bring Didier Drogba back in either a playing or coaching role. He could even be a player-coach I imagine.
And Norwich still fancy signing Fabio Quagliarella. Do it!
