  Arsenal have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano on a season-long loan deal from Palermo.
  
  The Arsenal manager told the club's official website: "Viviano is a player that we have rated for some time and we are very pleased to have signed him on loan.
  "He's experienced and has proved himself at a high level, and provides us with excellent cover to our existing goalkeepers."
  
  Only Ba and Ozil to go then Arsene!!!

  i wonder if there is gonna be a big shock signing done just before the window closes? are man utd gonna get both midfielders or are they gonna choose one?

  I don't know about 'shock' signings but it's always interesting around closing time... Does David Moyes know what today is lol...
  
  Swansea City have completed the season-long loan signing of Getafe striker Alvaro Vazquez.
  Vazquez makes the move to the Liberty Stadium with a view to a permanent transfer and manager Michael Laudrup says that the youngster will offer his side an attacking alternative.
  "Vasquez is a young player I know from his time at Espanyol and now Getafe," he told the Swans' official website.
  "He is a little different to the strikers we have and has the characteristics we have been looking for. He will give us a different option."

  laudrup loves raiding the spanish market, he seems to get some good players very cheap. do you reckon any of the top 6 will buy any english players before window closes.

  if it's a full transfer and not just a loan then i'd be very suprised if lukaku went to everton. maybe it's punishment for not closing down that cross in the super cup.

  A few twists...
  
  Apparently Romelu Lukaku wants to go back to West Brom, not Everton.
  
  Demba Ba to Arsenal won't be happening as Chelsea don't want to loan to a rival club.
  
  And Marouane Fellaini has just handed in a transfer request as he looks to force through a move to Man Utd. Seems as though the Toffees are stalling until they can find a replacement. Who can they get now?

  weren't everton trying to get a work permit for fernando from porto and i think they are after mccarthy from wigan, i guess they would replace him for same price he goes for.

  Demba Ba won't be going to West Ham either. Very much looking like Lukaku, if anyone, will be the striker to leave Stamford Bridge on loan.
